Showtime Drama Actors Honored with Three Golden Globe Nominations

NEW YORK – December 10, 2015 – This morning, The Hollywood Foreign Press Associationhonored three SHOWTIME drama actors with Golden Globe nominations including Liev Schreiber with a third consecutive nomination for his role on RAY DONOVAN, and first time nominees Eva Green for PENNY DREADFUL and Maura Tierney for THE AFFAIR.

Eva Green received her first ever Golden Globe nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series, Drama for her role as “Vanessa Ives” in the critically-acclaimed SHOWTIME thriller PENNY DREADFUL. The series is currently in production on a third season in Dublin, to air in 2016.  Also honored with her first ever nomination was THE AFFAIR’s Maura Tierney, nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television for her acclaimed role as “Helen Solloway.” THE AFFAIR airs Sundays at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Liev Schreiber received his third consecutive series nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series, Drama for his work on RAY DONOVAN. Today’s nomination marks Schreiber fourth nod overall. He was previously nominated for his work in film. RAY DONOVAN will return for a fourth season in 2016.
